The request form asks for details such as your name, email address, a way to reach you, your street or city and a description of the water problem. Those details serve two purposes and no others: getting your request to one independent local contractor near you, and replying to messages you send.

No contractor other than that one receives your request. Firms that host the site or deliver its email may process the details strictly to keep those services working. Personal information is never sold, rented or traded to anyone. We may disclose it where a court order, subpoena or similar legal duty makes that necessary.

A request sent through the form is kept with the site's hosting provider only so it can be handed to one contractor, and it is deleted 90 days after it arrives.

Like most websites, this one keeps routine server logs that may show your browser type, the pages you viewed and the site that linked you here. You can block cookies and still use every page.

Once you deal directly with the contractor, anything you tell that business falls under its own privacy practices. Children under 13 are not the audience here, and nothing is knowingly collected from them. Want to review, fix or erase information about you? Send a note via the contact form. If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a fresh date. Michigan law governs this policy.
